Geely launched the Galaxy Warship 700 on 10 October, its first box-shaped SUV and the opening shot for the brand's GTA native new-energy off-road architecture. Six versions are listed at 179,800 to 369,800 yuan, and the company reported more than 40,000 orders in the first hour after reservations opened.

A frame integrated into the body
Rather than a conventional ladder frame with a separate body, the Warship 700 embeds its frame rails into the body structure, giving torsional rigidity quoted above 40,000 Nm per degree. It measures 5,085 x 1,999 x 1,912 mm on a 2,900 mm wheelbase with five seats.
Up to 830 kW from three motors
All versions use a 47.14 kWh CATL battery and a three-speed dedicated hybrid transmission. The entry versions pair a 120 kW 1.5-litre turbo engine with a single 230 kW front motor and 305 km of CLTC electric range, reaching 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. Above them, tri-motor all-wheel-drive versions add rear axle torque vectoring.
- 1.5T tri-motor AWD: 570 kW of electric output, 280 km CLTC, 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds
- 2.0T tri-motor AWD: 670 kW of electric output plus a 160 kW engine for 830 kW combined, 270 km CLTC, 0-100 km/h in 3.95 seconds
- Claimed combined range of up to 1,770 km on a full tank and charge
Real off-road numbers
Unladen ground clearance is 233 mm, with approach and departure angles of 30 and 31 degrees and an 800 mm wading depth. Air-suspension versions improve those angles to 33 and 34 degrees and lift battery clearance to 360 mm. Dual rear P4 motors can torque-vector independently, enabling a "waltz" pivot turn and crab-style diagonal travel, functions usually reserved for far pricier electric off-roaders.

Assisted driving included
A roof-mounted look-out lidar feeds Geely's Qianli Haohan G-ASD system, which supports highway NOA, city NOA and full-scene automated parking. The flagship version additionally carries satellite communication and a diffused oxygen supply, a package aimed at remote-area travel rather than the school run.
The Warship 700 enters one of China's most crowded segments, facing the Fangchengbao Bao 5, Tank 700 Hi4-T and Jetour's own G700. Its argument is simple: bring more than 800 kW and genuine chassis hardware into a bracket that used to buy a single-motor family hybrid.
