Chinese Electric Light Vans: SAIC MAXUS, Wuling Lead Urban Logistics EVs

Chinese domestic brands are dominating the electric light commercial vehicle market. SAIC MAXUS, Wuling and Chery have launched a full lineup of electric delivery vans built for last-mile urban logistics.

These electric vans feature zero tailpipe emissions, low maintenance cost and quiet operation, perfectly matching emission control rules in downtown zones. Manufacturers design large cargo space, reinforced chassis and smart fleet management systems. Fleet managers can track vehicle location, battery status and driving data in real time.

Compared with imported electric commercial vehicles, Chinese logistics EVs offer better cost performance and localized after-sales support. More logistics companies are replacing old diesel fleets with Wuling and MAXUS electric vans. The brands are also exporting these workhorses to Southeast Asia, Europe and Latin America to serve local delivery businesses.
